Nick Loosley - Founder & Board Chair

Nick combined his love of food with a passion for change after witnessing the scale of food waste firsthand. During his Masters Studies in the UK Nick visited a dozen food projects, then turned his vision for reducing waste into Everybody Eats.

Justis Kamu - Board Member

West Auckland-raised and proud Samoan, Justis brings his communications expertise to Everybody Eats. Driven by the idea that food is love, he supports the team’s inclusive mission with heart and purpose.

Sara Tara - Board Member

With deep roots in business and Māori culture, Sara is dedicated to community well-being. For her, Everybody Eats is more than a restaurant; it’s a space for connection and support through kai, hospitality, and manaakitanga.

Shamim Hossain - Support Chef, Auckland

Shamim believes in the power of food to nourish both body and spirit. Drawing on a deep understanding of flavour and resourcefulness, he transforms rescued ingredients into inclusive, waste-free dishes. Nic Harty-Morris - Restaurant and Volunteer Engagement Manager

With a heart for good food and justice, Nic brings his expertise in sustainable food and social work to Everybody Eats, supporting both community growth and ethical food practices with a personal touch and a Hawke’s Bay spirit.

Amy Tew - General Manager

A global advocate for social causes with expertise in business strategy and community-driven initiatives. Amy has worked on projects from refugee aid to sustainable enterprise, bringing a wealth of knowledge to Everybody Eats' mission of fostering community through food.

Amanda Butland - Restaurant and Systems Manager

A hospitality pro with a love for bringing people together, Amanda manages food rescue in Auckland and Everybody Eats Glen Innes.  Her role blends community joy and great food, uniting volunteers and diners for meals with heart and music-filled evenings.

With a background in pay-as-you-can dining in the UK, she is passionate about fighting food waste and making delicious food accessible to all.
