Kai mō Āpōpō brings our community together around a pay-what-you-can, rescued and plant-based dinner, celebrating the power of food to nourish people while caring for the planet. Throughout the evening, guests will hear inspiring kōrero and demonstrations that explore practical, hopeful responses to the climate challenges facing Pōneke.

This event is connected to our PledgeMates project with Wellington City Council. Together, we will reflect on the climate-positive pledges made over recent weeks, share the real impact those actions have created, and reveal the collective carbon reduction achieved by our community. We will also highlight the ongoing environmental impact of Everybody Eats through our food rescue and efforts in waste reduction.
Kai mō Āpōpō is a celebration of climate-friendly eating, bringing people together to experience how delicious, inclusive, low-waste food can shape a healthier future for Pōneke and beyond.

Everyone is welcome.
